Stihl GHE355 Electric Garden Shredder

Powered by a 2000 watt electric motor, the Stihl GHE355 is a chipper shredder for the volume reduction of garden waste such as twigs, branches, hedge clippings and leaves.

The GHE355 is ideal for large volumes of garden waste and is equally well suited to hard waste such as branches, twigs and woody hedge clippings and softer green waste such as flower cuttings, leaves and thin twigs. The inclined feed chute combined with the large opening make feeding the GHE355 easy and effortless.

Stihl’s patented blade reversal system allows the blades to turn both clockwise and anticlockwise. Clockwise rotation is used for chipping branches of up to 35mm in diameter whilst anticlockwise rotation is used for shredding softer green waste.

Processed garden waste is ideal for composting, putting back on the garden as a mulch or simply popping in your recycling bin.

Access to the shredding chamber for cleaning and blade replacement is very easy. Simply loosen two thumb wheels and the hopper can be removed very quickly.

Safety is paramount when using a garden shredder so the exit from the shredding chamber is fully guarded to minimise the possibly of flying debris and a safety switch prevents the machine from operating with the chute removed
