The Eliet Major 4S petrol shredder is at home in very large gardens and more typically in commercial applications.
Contract gardeners and other commercial users are attracted to the Major 4S by the high rate of shredding that is achieved by combining a powerful Honda engine with a wide hopper opening and Eliet’s patented chopping principle.
Eliet’s chopping principle works on the basis of a series of triangular blades facing the material being fed into the shredder. By using this principle, the shredder is cutting the garden waste along the line of least resistance. The principle is the same as using an axe to cut down the grain of a log rather than across it. By using this principle, Eliet shredders are highly efficient and the shredded material is ideal for composting or to use as a mulch on the garden.
The Major 4S has a robust construction and is capable of shredding branches of up to 55mm in diameter.
Large pneumatic wheels make it easy to transport the Major 4S to and from the working area.
A translucent top-mounted fuel tank allows quick vision of the fuel level.
A blower chute has a discharge height of 138cm (+23cm) and can be rotated through 270º and is fitted with an adjustable deflector flap.
The shredding blades can be sharpened and are reversible for maximum use from one set of blades.
Power is provided by a reliable Honda GX270 engine and the shreddings are blown away from the machine through the discharge chute.
